Snr. Project Manager, AVP

What I do at Verdantas

I am the Wilmington Environmental Group Leader - supervising the Environmental Assessment & Remediation, Natural Resources and Environmental Planning, and Environmental Health & Safety Teams. I also am a Senior Project Manager working on various projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Who am I?

I am a senior project manager with over 13 years of experience in Environmental Services.  My knowledge of regional environmental policy and regulations, along with my passion for contributing to human health and environment in my own community, drive me to implement practical, economical, and ethical solutions on every project.  I have worked on a variety of environmental projects in Delaware, Southeast Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Eastern Maryland. My project experience includes a mix of assessment, investigation, remediation, and compliance work. Specifically, I have experience working on Delaware Brownfield and Voluntary Cleanup Program sites, RCRA sites, and PA Act II sites.  I have performed Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments in MD, NJ, DE, RI, and PA for clients looking to obtain landowner liability protections through CERCLA. I have prepared Health and Safety Plans, Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasures Plans, Contaminated Materials Management Plans, and Stormwater Plans. I have assisted clients in obtaining Subaqueous Lands permits, NPDES permits, UST/AST permits, and assisted with preparation of environmental assessments to support Delaware River dredge projects in NJ and DE. I've been a client representative on active construction projects with environmental overlays, such as dig-and-haul of non-hazardous and hazardous materials (soil/groundwater). Most recently, I helped lead planning and implementation of COVID wastewater monitoring across New Castle County and in some small-scale populations. I am honored to be recognized by the Delaware Chapter of the National Society of Professional Engineers as the 2020 Young Engineer of the Year. I was also part of the 2022 cohort (#Breakthrough22) for Leadership Delaware.
